1.
The Lord is my light and my rescue; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is my stronghold and fortress; Of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord will guide me through the storm; The Lord will keep me safe from harm. The Lord is my light and my rescue; Of whom shall I be afraid? Of whom shall I be afraid?
2.
Approach 05:19
Approach, my soul, the mercy seat, Where Jesus answers prayer; There humbly fall before His feet, For none can perish there. Thy promise is my only plea, With this I venture nigh; Thou callest burdened souls to Thee, And such, O Lord, am I. Bowed down beneath a load of sin, By Satan sorely pressed, By war without and fears within, I come to Thee for rest. Be Thou my shield and hiding-place, That, sheltered by Thy side, I may my fierce accuser face, And tell him Thou hast died! O wondrous love! to bleed and die; To bear the cross and shame; That guilty sinners, such as I, Might plead Thy gracious Name. “Poor tempest-tossèd soul, be still; My promised grace receive; I’ll work in thee both power and will; Thou shalt in me believe.”
3.
Comfortless 03:36
Come, all you comfortless, come all who languish, Come to the mercy seat, fervently kneel. Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anguish; Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Joy of the desolate, light of the straying, Hope when all other die, fadeless and pure. Hear the great Comforter, tenderly saying, “Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot cure.” See the sweet Bread of Life, see waters flowing From the great throne of God, on without end. Come to the feast of love; come, ever knowing Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot mend.
4.
A Sovereign Protector I have, Unseen, yet forever at hand, Unchangeably faithful to save, Almighty to rule and command. He smiles, and my comforts abound; His grace as the dew shall descend; And walls of salvation surround The soul He delights to defend. Inspirer and Hearer of prayer, Thou Shepherd and Guardian of Thine, My all to Thy covenant care I sleeping and waking resign. If Thou art my Shield and my Sun, The night is no darkness to me; And fast as my moments roll on, They bring me but nearer to Thee. Kind Author, and ground of my hope, Thee, Thee, for my God I avow; My glad Ebenezer set up, And own Thou hast helped me till now. I muse on the years that are past, Wherein my defense Thou hast proved; Nor wilt Thou relinquish at last A sinner so signally loved!
5.
Consider 01:15
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: They toil not, neither spin, But Solomon in all his splendor Was not like one of them. If God so clothes the grass of the field, Which lives a single day, Will He not keep us safe in His care And hear us as we pray?
6.
More Loved 02:47
The love of God is infinite, and over all supreme, While I am broken to the core, no matter how I seem. O, etch this grace into my heart—and let it be my theme: More wicked than I dare to think, more loved than I can dream. When I am in the darkest depths, he always hears my cry, And gives me living streams to drink, and fields in which to lie. I cannot slip beyond his grasp, He will not let me die— More broken than I dare to think, but loved beyond the sky. I have no goodness of my own; I’m powerless and poor; But all my sin could not exhaust his boundless mercy store. By his eternal grace, my twisted heart he shall restore; More ruined than I dare to think, but loved forevermore.
7.
O come and mourn with me awhile; O come ye to the Savior’s side; O come, together let us mourn; Jesus our Lord is crucified. Have we no tears to shed for him, While soldiers scoff and foes deride? Ah! look how patiently he hangs; Jesus our Lord is crucified. Seven times he spoke seven words of love, And all three hours his silence cried For mercy on the souls of men; Jesus our Lord is crucified. O break, O break, hard heart of mine! Thy weak self-love and guilty pride His Pilate and his Judas were; Jesus our Lord is crucified. A broken heart, a fount of tears: Ask, and they will not be denied; A broken heart love’s cradle is; Jesus our Lord is crucified. O love of God! O sin of man! In this dread act your strength is tried; And victory remains with love; Jesus our Lord is crucified!
8.
Sweeter sounds than music knows Charm me, in Emmanuel’s Name; All her hopes my spirit owes To His birth, and cross, and shame. When He came the angels sang, “Glory be to God on high;” Lord, unloose my stammering tongue-- Who should louder sing than I? Did the Lord a man become That He might the law fulfill, Bleed and suffer in my room, And canst thou, my tongue, be still? No, I must my praises bring, Though they worthless are, and weak; For should I refuse to sing, Sure the very stones would speak. O my Savior, Shield, and Sun, Shepherd, Brother, Husband, Friend, Every precious name in one; I will love Thee without end.
9.
Awake 03:02
Awake, my heart! And sing for joy, And every other thought destroy— Think only on my saving King— Awake, my heart! Awake and sing! Awake, my heart! Recall His grace— That heals my shame and lifts my face— That keeps me safe beneath His wing— Awake, my heart! Awake and sing! Awake, my heart! Behold the tree, Where Jesus died for such as me— For sinners died, and stole death's sting— Awake, my heart! Awake and sing! Awake, my heart! And trust Him still— How good for me the Father's will, Which shall through every danger bring— Awake, my heart! Awake and sing! Awake, my heart! And bless His name, Who lives from age to age the same— Who rules with love o'er everything— Awake, my heart! Awake and sing!
10.
Let Not 01:11
Let not your heart be troubled, Neither let it be afraid. Let not your heart be troubled, Neither let it be afraid. In my Father’s house are many rooms; If it were not so, would I have told you? Let not your heart be troubled, Neither let it be afraid.
11.
A few more years shall roll, a few more seasons come, And we shall be with those that rest, asleep within the tomb; Then, O my Lord, prepare my soul for that great day. O wash me in Thy precious blood, and take my sins away. A few more suns shall set o’er these dark hills of time, And we shall be where suns are not, a far serener clime: Then, O my Lord, prepare my soul for that blest day. O wash me in Thy precious blood, and take my sins away. A few more storms shall beat on this wild rocky shore, And we shall be where tempests cease & surges swell no more; Then, O my Lord, prepare my soul for that calm day. O wash me in Thy precious blood, and take my sins away. A few more struggles here, a few more partings o’er, A few more toils, a few more tears, and we shall weep no more: Then, O my Lord, prepare my soul for that bright day. O wash me in Thy precious blood, and take my sins away. A few more Sabbaths here shall cheer us on our way, And we shall reach the endless rest, the eternal Sabbath day; Then, O my Lord, prepare my soul for that sweet day. O wash me in Thy precious blood, and take my sins away. ’Tis but a little while, and He shall come again Who died that we might live, who lives that we with Him may reign; Then, O my Lord, prepare my soul for that glad day. O wash me in Thy precious blood, and take my sins away.

My Shepherd 04:11
My Shepherd will supply my need; Jehovah is his name. In pastures fresh he makes me feed, Beside the living stream. He brings my wandering spirit back, When I forsake his ways; And leads me, for his mercy’s sake, In paths of truth and grace. When I walk through the shades of death, Thy presence is my stay; A word of thy supporting breath Drives all my fears away. Thy hand, in sight of all my foes, Does still my table spread; My cup with blessings overflows; Thine oil anoints my head. The sure provisions of my God Attend me all my days. O may thy house be my abode, And all my work be praise! There would I find a settled rest, While others go and come; No more a stranger or a guest, But like a child at home.
